Hidden ScarsNo one knows this hidden pain,  The endless storm,  the fearful rain,  The scorching heat,  Exhaled by flame,  The child torn down,  by the cold hearted dame.   
She made me cry,  then regret my tears,  I wonder why,  She never consoled my fears.   
I'm broken apart,  My soul is shattered,  My poor little heart,  How badly your battered...

burning my tongueI can feel the cigarette,  it's burning the back of my tongue,  Is feeling better worth this?  Trading years of my life in so young?   
I feel sick in this house,  Everything's eating away at my soul,  I'll smoke till I get out,  Smoke till my lungs are coal.   
You tell me to quit,  But that encourages me more,  I never want to be you,  And grow to be such a bore.   
So if this makes me less like you,  I'll fill my lungs with tar,  If it makes me less like you,  I'll smoke my self to the bar. burning my tongue

Kitchen CrashesFrom the kitchen I hear the crashes,  Getting louder from your out lashes,  You strike her down,  You smile at her frown,  She wont be here much longer,  Through the tears she's getting stronger,  She's slowly standing up from the ground,  Watching you-making no sound,  Hush now its her turn to speak,  Slowly she starts-sounding quite weak,  But by the end a fire lights,  She says she's done-she's sick of fights,  She turns and walks- you pretend you don't care,  But you cry all night knowing she'll never be there. Kitchen Crashes
